About Jeff Cambra
I am a Bay Area native and have lived in Alameda for 25 years. During that time, I have watched my community flourish. I am running for city council because I want to see Alameda continue to progress.
I have always taken an active role in making Alameda a better place to live, work, and play, whether it was serving as President of the League of Women Voters, assisting the city’s Sunshine Task Force, co-producing the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival, or chairing our city’s Bike to Work Day.
As a leader in our city’s business organizations, I work to revitalize our business districts and sustain the locally owned businesses that serve our families. As a former assistant city attorney drafting laws and advising a city council, I have learned how government works.
As a Councilmember, I will work to ensure the safety and security of our residents, promote economic development, continue the partnership with our schools, and exercise fiscal accountability.
